ABOUT LAKE HOLDEN
Lake Holden is a 263 acre, non-public lake which means that the general
public cannot access the lake.  The lake is an awesome fish, ski, swim,
sail lake.  It is in the top rated Central Florida lakes for water quality
and has two very dedicated organizations to insure the ongoing water
quality improvement.  One of those organizations is the Lake Holden
Water Advisory Board that works with Orange County EPD and the
City Of Orlando to oversee the many water quality improvement
projects.

The other organization is the Lake Holden Property Owners
Association.  Membership is volunteer and boasts of 133 members of
about 170 lakefront homes.  To learn more about LHPOA, click on the

The dock extends about 40' into the lake with a 10X14 deck
and is at 3' of water at low water season.
Boat ramp is about 8' wide. There is no boat lift.

Welcome to OtterShores
The nickname, "OtterShores" relates to the long
history of Otter families that live along the
shoreline around Lake Holden.  There is at least
one family that claims this area as their home.
Almost on a daily basis, one or more Otters can be
seen frolicking and/or hunting along the shoreline.
Thus the name, OtterShores.
